Farad Grocery — Data Retention Policy

1. Scope

This policy describes how long the Farad Grocery Android application (package com.threedbazar.grocery) keeps the data it stores on your device, how you can delete it, and what data is held by the third-party advertising provider. It complements the Privacy Policy.

2. Core principle

The App is offline-first and you are the data controller for the records inside it. 3D Bazar does not hold copies of your sales data — we cannot retain or delete those records on your behalf.

3. Retention by record type

4. Why we recommend keeping invoices for 5 years

Under section 107 of the VAT and Supplementary Duty Act 2012 and accompanying NBR rules, registered businesses are expected to keep tax records for a minimum of five years. The App will not auto-delete invoices.

5. Backups

Because all data lives on your device, the responsibility for backups is yours. We recommend:

  • Keep Android Auto-Backup enabled for the App in Settings → Google → Backup.
  • Export PDF receipts you may need later via the invoice screen's Share Receipt PDF action.

6. Deleting everything

To wipe all Farad Grocery data from your device, open Android Settings → Apps → Farad Grocery → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the App. There is no remote profile to delete — 3D Bazar does not store your data.

7. Advertising data held by Google

Google AdMob retains ad-serving data under Google's own retention schedule. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or request deletion via Google's My Ad Center.
